The RF313 is a Midland UHF transceiver that supports the 400 to 430 MHz frequency range. This rugged transceiver can support up to 254 dataloggers on a single frequency. Each station can transmit up to 25 miles line-of-sight, and each station can act as a repeater to extend the transmission distance attainable by the network.
The RF313 is programmed by Campbell Scientific to the frequency assigned to you by your Federal Communications Commission (FCC) license. This frequency must be specified at time of order so that it can be programmed into your radios. An RF500M or RF310M modem is required for each radio, and an RF500M or RF310B at the base station. The base station also requires a programmed radio.
