03101-L

The 03101 is the 3-cup anemometer included with our Wind Sentry Sets. It can be purchased separately for applications that require only wind speed measurements. Campbell Scientific's version of the 03101 uses shielded bearings, which lowers the anemometer's starting threshold.

Rotation of the 03101's cup wheel produces an ac sine wave that is directly proportional to wind speed. The frequency of the ac signal is measured by a datalogger pulse count channel, then converted to engineering units (mph, m/s, knots).
