TEDLAR GAS BAGS (2 x 15 L)
Research work may require the collection of gases at one site for later analysis at another. Or it may require the provision of gases to a site where transporting a compressed source is not feasible. In either case, Qubit's Tedlar Gas Bags are the ideal solution!
These ultra-low permeability bags can be manufactured in a range of sizes up to 45 x 45 cm. They come with either Excelon or Bev-A-Line tubing (please specify) attached to the bag via a stainless steel connector. Tedlar has the lowest gas permeability of any heat-sealable polymer available. Price is dependant on the size, quantity and features required.
SMALL GAS BAGS (2 x 15 L)
When measuring rates of respiration and photosynthesis in open flow gas exchange systems, such as those in Qubit's packages for measuring respiration and photosynthesis (RP1LP, RP2LP and CO500LP, CO650LP, CO750LP), it is essential to provide gas to the sample chambers that has stable levels of O2 and CO2. Using compressed gases can be very expensive, so Qubit provides gas bags made from nylon polyethylene laminate that can be filled with a source of reference gas. Each bag is supplied with a Luer fitting, a length of vinyl tubing and a tube clamp.
The G121 Small Gas Bags come in a package containing 2 bags, each with a capacity of 15L.
LARGE GAS BAGS (2 x 30 L)
The G122 Large Gas Bags come in a package containing 2 bags, each with a capacity of 30L.
