MICRO FLUORCAM

MICRO FLUORCAM

The Z500 Micro-FluorCam extends the complete capacity of kinetic Chl-fluorescence imaging to the realm of individual cells and sub-cellular structures. All conventional fluorescence parameters can be mapped with micrometer resolution so that individual chloroplasts or even grana-stroma thylakoid segments can be investigated.
The standard Micro-FluorCam allows imaging measurements of Chl fluorescence kinetics with a fixed set of excitation wavelenths (usually two); each wavelength is provided by an appropriate LED. It is based on a combined excitation/detection module that can be mounted to different microscope stands.

Key Features
10 µs to 20 ms exposure time per frame
512 x 512 (or 640 x 480, or 1392 x 1040) pixels spatial resolution
12-bit dynamic range
70 % peak quantum yield with approx. 4 electrons readout noise
The instrument combines an attractive price with the advantage of portability, so it is best suitable for field studies. It is supplied in a handy suitcase.
