TEMPERATURE MONITORS

When measuring respirometry, the ambient temperature of the sample chamber must be monitored. For exothermic organisms which equilibrate at a body temperature similar to ambient temperature, this is essential. It is also important with endotherms, if body temperature is not being monitored directly.
All of Qubit Systems' sample chambers use sealable ports for the insertion of temperature probes. The 4 Channel Temperature Monitor allows 4 temperature probes to be monitored continuously and simultaneously across the full physiological range with a resolution of 0.01oC. Analog output signals of 0 - 5V or 0 - 10V can be specified on ordering. Qubit Systems' C950 Customized Gas Exchange Software uses an electronic multiplexer, which ensures that all signals from the A444 occupy a single analog channel on the data acquisition board.
