General Description Hydrocenter
The SEBA-Hydrocenter provides an internet-platform for the provision of measuring data and can be customized
to the individual needs of the user. The Hydrocenter either runs on the SEBA internet server (=SEBA-Hydrocenter) or
on the internet server of the customer (=Customer-Hydrocenter).
The advantages of both versions are obvious:
1. Whether you are in your office, at home or on the road: the Hydrocenter is everywhere accessible! Any time and
any place by GSM, GPRS or landline connection.
2. Measuring data are provided comfortably in the form of hydrographs and lists
3. Other authorized personnel (eg. Environmental Authorities, engineering companies, consortium members etc.)
have direct access to the measuring data and can download them.
4. Simply log-on and start! You will be able to navigate easily, guided by our self-explanatory user interface.

Description SEBA-Hydrocenter
Measuring sites equipped with SEBA-online-measurement technology of the latest generation (e.g. SEBA LogCom /
FlashCom, SlimCom) come with modem and GPRS data card. By using maps and/or pictures of the measuring sites,
SEBA-Hydrometrie customizes the user interface of the Hydrocenter based on your input and your requirements.
There are no recurring cost for your personalized Hydrocenter, only a one time fee for creation. Your online stations’
raw data are provided automatically and up-to-date in our Hydrocenter. On this platform you can either visualize
your time series in the form of hydrographs or lists or you can download them for easy processing with other
software (e.g. MS Excel) or in ASCII format.

You would like time-series to be stored directly to your demand server?
You would like to setup and expand the user interface independently, as well as add new measuring sites?
You would like to configure query modalities of your online stations autonomously?
You would like to make your own decision which data are put online and when?
... then decide in favour of the Customer-Hydrocenter!
Description of the Customer-Hydrocenter
Your measuring network consists of SEBA-online stations (e.g. SEBA-LogCom/Flash-Com) with GSM/GPRStransmission*,
and/or stations that are read out via notebook/HDA (e.g. SEBA data logger MDS-Dipper-3) and/or
measuring sites being monitored with a contact meter type KLL only from time to time.
Our comfortable Data Retrieval, Management and Evaluation Software DEMASdb and the online module
DEMASole serves as a data band and user interface. All your relevant data automatically enter DEMASdb. In case
you are already the owner of an SQL data bank (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL-Server etc.), then DEMASdb can be
integrated trouble-free. With the evaluation module DEMASvis you can edit your time-series at will.
A variety of editing-, correction- and calculating functions are at your disposal. DEMASdb makes automatic export
of edited or raw data to your Customer-Hydrocenter possible via FTP. The Hydrocenter is administered, updated
and expanded by you.
With the trimmed-down version of the Customer-Hydrocenter data query by GPRS is also possible. Here the data
are merely retrieved by means of the query module DEMASOle in combination with a Hydrocenter-tool from your
query-server and then converted into an ASCII-file. Instead of DEMASdb the data can also be processed with an
existing GIS -or data management software.
To make a long story short: you have everything under control and complete data sovereignty.
* subject to the desired frequency of retrieval and the volume of data to be transmitted low-priced GSM/GPRS flat
rates for your data cards might be a good alternative. For example in Germany, GPRS flat rates are offered by your
mobile provider (D1/Vodafone) for as little as 8 EUR per months per measuring site. When it comes to choosing a
data retrieval in a cost-effective manner, SEBA Hydrometrie is always at your disposal. Just ask.
