System Description Floater-3
 
The Floater-3 is  a  float-operated  system  which  is suitable for the installation in groundwater observation wells with casing diameters starting from 2”.

The float wheel is moved by form-locking components which are free of slip- and slide effects. The Floater-3 system is free of any temperature influences, does not show any longterm drift effects and stands out by its customer-friendly, quick and easy installation procedure at site. Monitoring data can be retrieved through the robust SEBA-HDA or notebook. Optionally, the data can also be retrieved by a telemetric GSM/GPRS system through the additional installation of an “intelligent top
piece”called FlashCom/ LogCom (see SEBA brochure "Groundwater Monitoring - Online - FlashCom-LogCom”).

A consistency of the monitoring data is given through the standardised soft- and hardware (WBedien, DEMASvis, DEMASdb) which covers operation, readout, storage and further processing and analysis of the MDS-data.
