Solar Radiation Sensor Mounts

CM225 Solar-Sensor Mounting Stand

To make accurate measurements, solar sensors must be mounted where they are not shaded, and level. To achieve this, typically a leveling base and a mounting stand are required.
The CM225 mounting stand is used to attach one solar radiation sensor to a horizontal crossarm or vertical mast (1.0" to 2.1" OD). Compatible sensors include the LI200X, CMP3, LP02, and CS300 pyranometers, as well as the LI190SB Quantum Sensor. An LI2003S, 18356 Leveling Base, or similar base and leveling fixture may be required depending on the sensor selected.

Can be mounted vertically or horizontally

Specifications

Consists of a rectangular plate, mounting bracket, u-bolts, lock washers, nuts

LI2003S Pyranometer Base and Leveling Fixture

The LI2003S Pyranometer Base/Leveling Fixture is required to attach a LI200X pyranometer or LI190SB quantum sensor to our CM225 solar sensor mounting stand, 015ARM mounting arm or 025STAND crossarm stand. The LI2003S levels the sensor in the horizontal plane, helping to ensure accurate solar radiation measurements. The LI2003S uses a bubble level and three adjustable leveling screws to level the sensor.

Solar Radiation Sensor Mounts

Features

Attaches and levels one LI200X, LI200S, or LI190SB onto one CM225, 015ARM, or 025STAND
Uses bubble level and three adjustable leveling screws to level the pyranometer
Included in UTLI

18356 Leveling Base for CS300 Pyranometer

The 18356 leveling base is required to attach the CS300 pyranometer to our CM225 solar sensor mounting stand. The 18356 levels the sensor in the horizontal plane, helping to ensure accurate solar radiation measurements. The 18356 uses a bubble level and three adjustable leveling screws to level the sensor.

Features

Attaches and levels one CS300 onto one CM225
Uses bubble level and three adjustable leveling screws to level the pyranometer

26120 Net-Radiation-Sensor Mounting Kit

Campbell Scientific created an improved mounting kit for the net radiometers we offer. The kit, part number 26120, replaces mounting kit numbers 19455 and 14264. It performs better in dry or salty environments, and is designed to work in some configurations where the previous models did not.
The 26120 is a more universal mounting kit that can be used with the NR-LITE, CNR2, CNR1, or CNR1-L.

015ARM Pyranometer Mounting Arm

The 015ARM Pyranometer Mounting Arm mounts one LI2003S pyranometer leveling base to a tripod. In turn, the LI2003S base provides a level fixture for attaching a Li-Cor pyranometer or quantum sensor to the 015ARM.

Solar Radiation Sensor Mounts

Features

Mounts a single pyranometer leveling base (LI2003S, CM3MT, or 14282) to a CM6 Tripod or CM10 Tripod

UTLI Leveling Fixture and Crossarm Mount

The UTLI includes a powder-coated aluminum bracket and mount for attaching a pyranometer or quantum sensor (LI200X-L or LI190SB-L) to the leg of one of our towers. The platform that holds the pyranometer includes an LI2003S for leveling the sensor. The UTLI is attached to the tower with a UT018 or UT018-5 crossarm.

Solar Radiation Sensor Mounts

Features

Compatible with a UT10, UT20, or UT30 tower
Allows an LI200X or LI190SB to be attached directly
Includes an LI2003S
Attaches to a UT018 or UT018-5 crossarm (purchased separately)
