Tripod and Tower Mounts

CM202 2-foot Crossarm with Bracket

The CM202 is a crossarm that attaches to an instrumentation tower or tripod. It provides a rugged, weather-resistant sensor mount for one sensor. The CM202 is compatible with all of our tripods, towers, and CM200-series brackets. It can also be attached to a user-supplied pole.
The 1-inch diameter aluminum crossarm is 2 feet (0.6 m) in length and includes a CM210 bracket kit. The stainless-steel CM210 allows the CM202 to attach to either a 3/4- or 1.0-inch-diameter vertical pipe.

CM204 4-foot Crossarm with Bracket

The CM204 provides a rugged, weather-resistant sensor mount for one or two sensors. The CM204 is compatible with our CM6/10-series tripods, CM110-series tripods, or UT-series towers. It can also be attached to a tripod mast or a user-supplied pole. The 1" diameter aluminum crossarm is 4 feet in length and is fitted with CM210 bracket kit that allows it to attach to either a 3/4" or 1.0" diameter vertical pipe.

CM206 6-foot Crossarm with Bracket

The CM206 provides a rugged, weather-resistant sensor mount for up to two sensors. The CM206 is compatible with our CM6/10-series tripods, CM110-series tripods, or UT-series towers. It can be attached to a tripod mast or a user-supplied pole.
The 1" diameter aluminum crossarm is 6 feet (2.0 m) in length and is fitted with CM210 bracket kit that allows it to attach to either a 3/4" or 1.0" diameter vertical pipe. If the CM206 will be mounted on a UT-series tower, an additional CM210 bracket can be added so that the crossarm is secured to two of the three vertical risers within the tower.

CM210 Crossarm-to-Pole Bracket

The CM210 is a mounting bracket that is used to attach a crossarm to a instrumentation tripod or tower. One CM210 is included with a CM202, CM204, or CM206 crossarm.
When attaching a crossarm to a UT-series tower, a second COM210 can be purchased to attach the crossarm to a second leg on the tower. The CM210 is "creased" during the manufacturing process, allowing pipes of varying diameter to seat snugly into the bracket when attaching it to the mast or legs of one of our tripods or towers.

Tripod and Tower Mounts

Features

Attaches a crossarm to an instrumentation tripod or tower
Accommodates crossarms of varying sizes
One included with each CM202, CM204, or CM206 crossarm

Specifications

Material: 304 stainless steel bracket, with stainless-steel U-bolts and hardware
Includes four u-bolts:
two 1.5" u-bolts
two 2" u-bolts

CM220 Right-Angle Mounting Bracket

The CM220 Right-Angle Mounting Bracket can attach a sensor with a vertical pipe mount (e.g., most wind sensors) to a CM202, CM204, or CM206 crossarm. It is compatible with pipes that have a 1.0" to 1.5" outer diameter.
The CM220 is creased during manufacture to allow pipes of varying diameters to seat snugly into the bracket. The 90° bend in the middle of the bracket allows the CM220 to fill roughly the same role as the 1049 or 17953 NU-RAIL Offset Crossover fitting.

Tripod and Tower Mounts

Features

Right angle mounting bracket
Vertically mounts a sensor to a crossarm

Specifications

Consists of a rectangular bracket and two 1.5" u-bolts

CM225 Solar-Sensor Mounting Stand

To make accurate measurements, solar sensors must be mounted where they are not shaded, and level. To achieve this, typically a leveling base and a mounting stand are required.
The CM225 mounting stand is used to attach one solar radiation sensor to a horizontal crossarm or vertical mast (1.0" to 2.1" OD). Compatible sensors include the LI200X, CMP3, LP02, and CS300 pyranometers, as well as the LI190SB Quantum Sensor. An LI2003S, 18356 Leveling Base, or similar base and leveling fixture may be required depending on the sensor selected.

Tripod and Tower Mounts

Features

Solar sensor mounting stand
Leveling base or leveling fixture required
Can be mounted vertically or horizontally

Specifications

Consists of a rectangular plate, mounting bracket, u-bolts, lock washers, nuts

CM235 Magnetic Mounting Stand

The CM235 consists of rectangular plate, mounting bracket, u-bolts, lock washers, and nuts. It allows one peripheral with a magnetic base (typically antennas) to be mounted to a crossarm or mast (1.0" to 2.1" OD). Compatible peripherals include certain GPS or short-range omnidirectional antennas fitted with magnetic bases.
