Qubit's Water Trap for Condensing Ice bath is used to remove excess moisture from air in tubing. In experiments which produce large amounts of humidity in the air, it is advantageous to remove as much moisture via a condenser inside an ice bath. Using a condenser prolongs the life of the drying reagent further downstream in the gas exchange system, reducing the chance that it becomes exhausted and invalidates your measurements.
