Air Pumps

The AC gas pump samples air from the laboratory, or from a gas bag, and pumps this through a gas exchange system at a measured flow rate. The minimum flow from the pump is approximately 2 LPM and maximum flow is approximately 2.5 LPM, which is excessive for direct use with many sensors. Flow rate may be attenuated by a flow meter or an appropriate flow restrictor. The A112 Voltage Regulator may also be used to restrict pump speed. If the pump is plugged into the Voltage Regulator socket, a wide range of flow rates can be obtained. The fittings on the outlet, and on the flow meter, ensure that connections can only be made in the correct direction.

AC GAS PUMP

Air Pumps
The G103 DC gas pump may be used in place of the AC gas pump in situations lacking a readily available source of AC power. An adapter is supplied for use with an AC source, but the pump can be used in remote locations with the Qubit Systems' A247 Battery Pack. The G103 gas pump has an adjustable flow rate from 0 - 2.2 L/min. A potentiometer allows accurate control of pump speed with reduced risk of accidental alterations. The pump is extremely lightweight and has a compact design. Input and output gas ports are fitted with Luer-lock connectors for easy attachment to the gas exchange system.

DC POWERED GAS PUMP

Air Pumps
Qubit Systems' G275 Gas Pump provides total gas flow rates of up to 3 litres per minute at a system pressure of 5 psi. It may be used to provide gas to allow excellent control of flow to individual chambers via any of our gas flow controllers and monitors. With no load, the pump can generate a flow of 4.2 L/min or a vacuum pressure of 600 mbar. Pump speed is varied by a front mounted potentiometer. Luer connectors provide easy connection of gas lines.
A power supply, tubing and a filter come with the G275 pump.
