The SC532A is a 9-pin to 9-pin device that interfaces certain Campbell Scientific peripherals to the serial port of a computer. It is typically used with the SM4M, SM16M, CSM1 Card Storage Modules, and MD9 Multidrop Interfaces.
Features
Enables communications between a PC and some Campbell Scientific 9-pin peripherals
Provides power and converts the peripheral's logic levels to RS-232 levels
Replaces the SC532
Required to:
Transfer programs and data to a storage module
Download a new OS into an SM4M/SM16M
Program the SAT ARGOS
Change COM210 settings
Communicate with an MD9 network
