Evapotranspiration Software - ET2

Evapotranspiration Software - ET2

Calculates reference evapotranspiration (ET0)
FAO Penman-Monteith and other calculation methods
Daily and hourly (or timestep) ET0 results
Improved Windows software to estimate FAO reference crop evapotranspiration, for calculating crop water requirements.
Reference evapotranspiration (ET0) can be calculated by the ET2 Software from meteorological data. The four essential parameters are air temperature, relative humidity, solar radiation and wind speed. Other parameters such as net radiation, soil heat flux and air pressure may be used if available to improve the validity of the results.

The options offered are:
Penman-Monteith (daily mode, and time-step mode)
FAO modified Penman method (daily)
Penman method (daily)
In addition, open water evapotranspiration can be calculated using the Penman method.

Input data files
All data files in ASCII characters, and "rectangular" format are compatible, including weather data files from the DL2e Data Logger. A wide variety of data units can be accepted, e.g. for solar radiation, kW/m2, MJ/m2, sunshine hours, minutes or fraction, are all acceptable.

ET0 output files
The program creates standard ASCII files of ET0, and rainfall (if included in the input data) for each day (or time-step), and a daily summary of all input data parameters. There is a free choice of the synoptic hour. The output files can be viewed on-screen and then exported to spreadsheets or to other software applications.
